The 'Bett + Bike Gesamtverzeichnis' guidebook to more than 5,400 bike-friendly B & B places along your cycleway in Germany. Though it is in German languge, it is very helpful. It provides maps to find the next accommodation on your way, a picture of the location, its contact details and prices to stay for a night. A must-have if you don't like booking all accommodation ahead.

The German cycling federation ADFC provides maps of all parts of Germany (publishing house: BVA Bielefelder Verlag). The 27 maps come with a 1:150,000 scale what is sufficient to navigate through the country. The maps look like this on here: ADFC Radtourenkarte (this is the one covering Upper Bavaria and Munich).
